2014 Endorsing Convention

 

The annual Massachusetts Democratic State Convention will be held on June 13-14, 2014 at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA> Our convention this year is commonly referred to as an Endorsing Convention because its main business is to nominate candidates for statewide offices. There are a number of hotly contested offices this year. There are five outstanding candidates seeking to be nominated for governor, for example. In order to appear on the Party’s primary ballot this coming Fall a candidate must receive at least 15% of the votes cast at the Convention.
